OMC Ravenna 2011

From the 23-25th of March the OMC took place, and Hart b.v. exhibited for the first time. It was a succesful exhibition where many new contacts were made, both from inside but also outside Italy.

The Opening Ceremony on 25th March saw the presence of representatives from the Italian Government as well as the governments of the other Mediterranean Countries. Innocenzo Titone, Chairman of OMC 2011, together with the Mayor of Ravenna, and the Chairman of Ravenna Chamber of Commerce, introduced Stefano Saglia, Undersecretary Italian Ministry for Economic Development whose speech focused on the theme “The Energy Challenge: a Sustainable Approach”.

The final and impressive figures for OMC 2011 are:

• 10,483 attendees ( a more than 1,500 increase on 2009)
• 469 exhibiting companies (over 27% increase on 2009)
• 31 attending nations
• 12 official delegations
